Program Description :
Teaching the kids to scuba dive can be surprisingly expensive or difficult to plan, but not with Red Sea Divers! Affordable prices, the relaxed pace, beautiful shore diving for Mom and Dad, great accommodation options. For the most part, learning to dive is exactly the same for a 10 year old as an adult. Children will learn scuba diving theory, practice underwater skills in confined water and do Open Water dives.
Confined Water skills
Confined Water means calm shallow pool-like conditions. This is where (Red Sea Divers) has a big advantage, because we have these conditions in our special swimming pool which made especially for the beginner divers. Kids learn how to set up their gear, get water out of their mask without surfacing and emergency skills like sharing air. And they’ll enjoy the Red Sea fish life right from their first step in the water.
Open Water dives:
This is where you have fun putting it all together, diving and exploring the coral reef. There are 4 Open Water dives, by the end of which kids will feel comfortable, safe and in control of their scuba diving. This is the most fun part of the course because they have fun enjoying beautiful diving in the Red Sea.TDepth and becoming an (adult) Open Water Diver:
unior Divers have slightly shallower depth limits (12m for 10-11 yr olds), and must dive with a fully-certified adult. From 12 yrs, they can dive to the full 18m. Any under 18 year old must have a parent or legal guardian sign PADI paperwork allowing them to dive. If your child is arriving with a school group, friend or relative, we can email these in advance.
Book NowMein 13 Jähriger Sohn hat im Oktober 2023 seinen Junior Open Water Diver bei Red Sea Divers absolviert. Ich bin voll und ganz zufrieden, es wurde sich richtig viel Zeit genommen und die Sicherheit und das wohlbefinden meines Sohnes haben immer an vorderster stelle gestanden. Auch Aussagen wie dann dauert der Kurs lieber einen Tag länger sind gefallen und das ohne das Wort kosten in den Mund zu nehmen. Ich selbst bin auch bei 4 Tauchgängen dabei gewesen und muss sagen es gibt nichts zu meckern! Die Preise beinhalten immer die komplette Ausrüstung und es kommen keine Zusatzkosten hinzu. für Verpfelgung an Board ist gesorgt und auch da gibt es nicht zu meckern.
Red Sea Divers ist für Deutsche überwiegend mit der Englischen Sprache zu bewältigen, aber für meinen Sohn wurde sogar ein Tauchlehrer welcher Deutsch sprach organisiert.

I've lost my logbook; can I still dive with you?
Yes, providing you prove you’re a diver. We may require you to do a check dive or scuba review before your arrival or on your first day depending on your level, how many dives you think you have and when your last dive was.
I've lost my certification card; can I still dive with you?
If you are a PADI or SSI diver, we may be able to check their computer database online, but please make every effort to get a replacement before you travel.
What is the maximum depth I can dive to?
Our guides will guide to 30m on recreational dives or to the limit of your diving qualification. If you have a deep spec to say 40m, you have a buddy of equal level and can show your insurance allows you to dive to this depth, then CDWS allows diving to 40m. Technical diving has different rules. Please email info@redseadiverss.com for more details. Your maximum diving depth will be dependent on your level of training and experience. It is your responsibility to check what depths your insurance policy covers you for before your arrival.
Do I have to be a good swimmer to scuba dive?
Some swimming ability is required. You need to have basic swim skills and be able to comfortably maintain yourself in the water. Float and tread water for 10 minutes, again using any methods you want.
What is the best time of year to dive?
The Red Sea offers all year-round sunshine with little or no rainfall. From the 2nd week of November to the end of March temperatures are cooler and there can be strong winds; however, guests have commented that they prefer this time of year as the boats and the dive sites are quiet. April to June, look out for manta and the occasional whale shark; summer has lots of shoaling fish, barracuda, trevallies, snapper, batfish. Water temperatures are lovely; however the air temperature can be very hot. September through to the first two weeks of November the air temperature is beautiful and the waters are warm from the summer heat. Marine sightings will vary depending on which dive resort you are staying at.
